Our tapered fissure burs have carefully designed blade structures, rake angle, flute depth and spiral angulation. Made from one piece specially formulated fine-grain tungsten carbide results in powerful cutting performance. This produces a sharper blade with longer wear.
Typical usage for these high quality tapered fissure burs are used for high definition engraving in metal, outlining in wood or egg. With the FG-699L being our most popular for Egg and Wood Piercing. Tapered Fissures are very good for outlining.
